Zurück von der Insel: Die Ausbeute einer Bücherfahrt

Hallo zusammen.

Hier also nun eine erste Auswahl meiner Neuanschaffungen (weitere folgen):

The Shock Of The Fall von Nathan Filer

I’ll tell you what happened because it will be a good way to introduce my brother. His name’s Simon. I think you are going to like him. I really do. But in a couple of pages he’ll be dead. And he was never the same after that. (Klappentext)

The Bunker Diary  von Kevin Brooks

I can’t believe I fell for it. It was still dark when I woke up this morning. As soon as my eyes opened I knew where I was. A low-ceilinged rectangular building made entirely of whitewashed concrete. There are six little rooms along the main corridor. …
(Klappentext)

iBoy von Kevin Brooks

Before the attack, sixteen-year-old Tom Harvey was just an ordinary teenager.
But now fragments of a shattered iPhone are embedded in his brain and it’s having an extraordinary effect… (Klappentextauszug)

The Perks Of Being A Wallflower  von Stephen Chbosky

Charlie’s not the biggest geekin high school, but he’s by no means popular. Shy, introspective, intelligent, yet socially awkward, Charlie is a wallflower, standing on the threshold of his life whilst watching everyone else leave theirs. (Klappentextauszug)

Thirteen  von Tom Hoyle

Born at midnight in London on the stroke of the new millenium, Adam is the target of a cult that believes boys born at this time must die before the end of their thirteenth year. Twelve have been killed so far… (Klappentextauszug)

More Than This  von Patrick Ness

A boy drowns, desperate and alone in his final moments. He dies. Then he wakes, naked and bruised and thirsty, but alive. How can this be? And what is this strange deserted place?
As he struggles to understand what is happening, the boy dares to hope. Might this not be the end? Might there be more to this life, or perhaps this afterlife? (Klappentext)

Dreamwalker  von J. D. Oswald

In a small village, miles from the great cities of the Twin Kingdoms, a young boy called Errol tries to find his way in the world. He’s an outsider – he looks different from other children and has never known his father. No one, not even himself, has any knowledge of his true lineage.
Deep in the forest, Benfro, the young male dragon, begins his training in the subtle arts. Like his mother, Morgwm the Green, he is destined to be a great Mage.

Fae – The Wild Hunt  von Graham Austin-King

For a hundret generations the Fae have been locked away from the world, in the cold, in the outside. They have faded out of sight and mind, into myth and folklore. But now the barriers are weakening and they push against the tattered remnants of the Wyrde as they seek a way to return… (Klappentextauszug)

The Gentleman Bastard Sequence  von Scott Lynch (Dreiteiler)
